Kielradio starts now with supporting commercial
cargo vessels, fishery and research vessels.
In cooperation with DANTRONIK, MAXSEA and other
well known companies, Kielradio starts the fastest
HF-Email service in Europe using Pactor-III, which enables
datatransmission with troughput up to 2.400 bps unkompressed.
"Hertha O." is a tramp ship, sailing in all European seas
and belongs to a very successfull shipping company.
Meanwhile the company has fitted all its vessels with our system

We support a development aid project in the Republic of the Congo. Because
a few stations for Pactor service gave up in Africa, this Padre asked
KIELRADIO for assistance. Only three times a year, he is able to receive
his mail, because it is a 1.400 kilometer hike by foot from Kinshasa to the place

S/V "Caledonia" |

The S/V "Caladonia" is one of the very first clients
of KIELRADIO. We meet the owner of this 70' steel vessel in
summer 2001 in Kiel, when KIELRADIO did start with its first
tests. The installation was done in winter 2002 in the Netherlands.
From there, this ship starts to sail to Island, Faeroe Island and
United Kingdom. The "Caledonia" did spend the winter and the next
Summer in the Med and went in November 2003 to the Carebean. Actually
she is sailing around Martinique. "Caledonia" uses KIELRADIO in combination
with the MaxSea Chopper to get grip data while their journey
around the world. |
